Last week on Monday, I had put some bills in my purse to mail. I didnt have time to run by the post office that afternoon, so I put the two bills in my car to mail later that evening. Later on I drove home, and realized I had not gone by to put them in the mail. I thought, no problem, I will just run by in the morning on my way to work. I left them inside my car, locked and in my garage. I got in my car the next morning (Tuesday) and went to get gas in my car, as I was driving on to work I looked down and realized and saw the second bill sitting there. I had the other one sitting on top, so I knew it wasnt there. I went to pick them up and there was only one bill in my hand. The other bill was no where in sight. I looked throughout my entire car, under the mats, seats, and all the crevices inside to see if it had fallen some place by mistake. I knew my car had been locked everywhere I was, and I didnt remember mailing the bill. I got to work and told my dad. He went out and looked, and he didnt find anything, We retraced my steps. There was only a gas station I had stopped at before I noticed it was missing, so I went back and looked in the trash, because I had thrown something away there also. I found what I threw away but not my bill. I wasnt worried about it being late, because I was mailing them early, but I needed to find the bill. I went back to work, and every day each time I got in my car, I was looking for it or thinking about where it could be. My sister looked as well. We could not find it. It was no where to be found.
Several days went by, and I continued to just thank God. I wanted to find that bill, and I knew that it could only be in my car. My sister drove with me every day to the bank so she knows all I went through, and we never found it. Well, Saturday finally came, and I still had not found the bill. I drove to the church for the two hour live broadcast at the church and then drove home. I got ready to go to dinner with the family, and I was walking down to my garage to go over to my parents house. I was just thanking God and praying. I told God, "Can you just have an angel put it back in my car. I dont care where it went. I just thank you that you have an angel bring it back to me." I opened my garage and got into my car. As I closed the door, I saw something white out of the corner of my eye. I leaned over towards the passenger side a bit and saw my bill lying right in the middle of the passenger floorboard in plain site. It was a miracle for me! I was thanking God and rejoicing! He came through for me! I went over to my parents and told them what happened. They said, "Thank God!" When my sister got in the car to go to dinner, I showed her where it had been. She said, "Yeah, that wasnt there." It was just the power of God working for someone that will trust and believe. God moved for me, because I trusted in him and believe in that power that raised Jesus from the dead. I thank God that he had mercy on me and did that for me to encourage me. He will do that for any person when they believe. I am so thankful to God for what he has done in my life, and what he continues to do for me when I believe and trust in the power of God. That was salvation for me that day. I am so grateful to God for having the mercy on me and those around me to know to trust in Him in all things. There is nothing else to turn to! When we believe, he moves on our behalf, and we overcome whatever is in front of us, and whatever we need, he supplies. I mailed that bill and continued to just give God thanks! God bless!

This past summer, my youngest sister was working at a sign company in McKinney. One day I was talking to my mom and she said that at my sisters work they had found a stray kitten and were looking for a home for him. They tried to find the owner and no one claimed him. My sister's boss couldn't keep him and they thought about me. I prayed about it. I never liked cats and never wanted to have one. I am a dog person and love them so much and cats were just a little too temperamental (maybe had a few demons to deal with) for me. Most that I had been around were pretty mean. I didn't want that, but I just continued to pray. Well you should never say never!!! I prayed it through and believed it was right to bring him home with me.
Things went very well. He was such a sweetheart, easy going, easy trained (had no accidents) and overall a great kitten. We have had a lot of fun. It's been interesting. I know that animals are a reflection of their owners, and when you are calm and cool, the animals will follow suit. Cats can have an attitude about them, and I started to see a few traits trying to develop in my kitty. He just had these moments. He did a few things, just the hissing and stuff cats do. Well not mine!! I don't like it when they do that, and so I have prayed for him and believe it or not, we have cast the devil out of that cat. Ever since, he hasn't been the same. Oh yes, at times he does things, but not like before, and when I say stop, he straightens up. He has been a lot of fun, really dog-like actually. He has some funny traits that resemble a dog, and it's quite adorable. I thank God for him, and he has really been a fun little companion to live with and some more responsibility. I have lived by myself for quite some time and very independent so having another body in the house, and having to care for it like a kid has been an adjustment, but just preparation for the future. I have seen God work things in this cat and some miracles. I mentioned the devils being cast out, but he has been healed too. About a week or so back he was over at my parents and my mom was cooking. She had just moved something off the stove and was fixing the lasagna in a pan next to it. She had her hands in the food and he jumped up onto the hot stove. It is a flat top stove, so he landed right on the burner with his paws. He jumped into the air and squealed really loud, and fell back down on it as my mom tried to grab him. My dad and sister came in to see what had happened. Dad told my mom, by the Spirit of God, that he would be okay. She was reminded of the time when she grabbed a pan without a pot holder and hurt her hand. It was healed pretty quickly with the pain going away. Mom called me and told me what happened. They were praying, but she wanted to know what I wanted to do. I said I believe he will be fine, let's just pray. Well we did and he was fine. He was jumping up on things later that evening and wasn't bothered at all. Never heard another peep out of him of discomfort at least. God healed my cat, and I am so thankful. One other instance, he was at my parents a day or two later, and some how, the back door wasn't closed all the way and neither was the garage. He snuck out and being very curious, he likes to explore. My dog was barking, and my mom realized the back door was open. She went to look for him and was praying, and God said, "It's okay, he'll be back." Well, she went back in to see if he was there and went around front. As she came back to the garage again, there he was coming back up to the door. Thank God!
I cannot tell you enough how grateful I am to God for working in my life. There is nothing else to turn to, nor do I want to trust anything else. I know it won't help. I have experienced the power of God in my life for over 25 years. Milo has definitely been a blessing from God, and I am truly thankful!
