Words of Edification, Exhortation and Comfort

11/19/09 - Mark 11:22-26    Have faith in God.  For verily I say unto you, That whosoever shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; and shall not doubt in his heart, but shall believe that those things which he saith shall come to pass; he shall have whatsoever he saith. Therefore I say unto you, What things soever ye desire, when ye pray, believe that ye receive them, and ye shall have them.  And when ye stand praying, forgive, if ye have ought against any: that your Father also which is in heaven may forgive you your trespasses.  But if ye do not forgive, neither will your Father which is in heaven forgive your trespasses.   You know I have found over the years that unforgiveness can cause people major problems.   I had a family member that had a problem forgiving, and harboured things in their heart.  I forgive from my heart on a regular basis.  I name people, to make sure that I have not hidden things in my heart that could cause me grief.  We can't afford not to forgive, because we end up being the one that suffers.  God bless you.

11/12/09 Isaiah 40:28-31

Hast thou not known? hast thou not heard, that the everlasting God, the LORD, the Creator of the ends of the earth, fainteth not, neither is weary? there is no searching of his understanding. He giveth power to the faint; and to them that have no might he increaseth strength.  Even the youths shall faint and be weary, and the young men shall utterly fall: But they that wait upon the LORD shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint.  As I was considering these scriptures the Lord reminded me how it takes patience (continuance) to keep walking.  Continuance in believing the gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ when the pressures are so great that you do not believe you can keep walking.

11/08/09 As I was awakened this morning I was considering the things that are taking place in our nation.  Two scriptures came in to my heart.  One is written below and the other is out of Isaiah 3:10 Say ye to the righteous, that it shall be well with him: for they shall eat the fruit of their doings.

Isaiah 52:7-8 How beautiful upon the mountains are the feet of him that bringeth good tidings, that publisheth peace; that bringeth good tidings of good, that publisheth salvation; that saith unto Zion, Thy God reigneth!  Thy watchmen shall lift up the voice; with the voice together shall they sing: for they shall see eye to eye, when the Lord shall bring again Zion.  Amen!!!

11/7/09  Isaiah 50: 4-10 4The Lord GOD hath given me the tongue of the learned, that I should know how to speak a word in season to him that is weary: he wakeneth morning by morning, he wakeneth mine ear to hear as the learned. 5The Lord GOD hath opened mine ear, and I was not rebellious, neither turned away back. 6I gave my back to the smiters, and my cheeks to them that plucked off the hair: I hid not my face from shame and spitting. 7For the Lord GOD will help me; therefore shall I not be confounded: therefore have I set my face like a flint, and I know that I shall not be ashamed. 8He is near that justifieth me; who will contend with me? let us stand together: who is mine adversary? let him come near to me. 9Behold, the Lord GOD will help me; who is he that shall condemn me? lo, they all shall wax old as a garment; the moth shall eat them up.  10Who is among you that feareth the LORD, that obeyeth the voice of his servant, that walketh in darkness, and hath no light? let him trust in the name of the LORD, and stay upon his God.

4/27/09 Proverbs 25:2  It is the glory of God to conceal a thing.   Proverbs 11:13 A talebearer revealeth secrets: but he that is of a faithful spirit concealeth a matter.  Just a couple scriptures to consider which one of these scriptures describes our individual walk.  Do we run and tell everything we think we know, or are we of a faithful spirit and keep our mouth shut?

Matthew 25:1-13 1Then shall the kingdom of heaven be likened unto ten virgins, which took their lamps, and went forth to meet the bridegroom. 2And five of them were wise, and five were foolish. 3They that were foolish took their lamps, and took no oil with them: 4But the wise took oil in their vessels with their lamps. 5While the bridegroom tarried, they all slumbered and slept. 6And at midnight there was a cry made, Behold, the bridegroom cometh; go ye out to meet him. 7Then all those virgins arose, and trimmed their lamps. 8And the foolish said unto the wise, Give us of your oil; for our lamps are gone out. 9But the wise answered, saying, Not so; lest there be not enough for us and you: but go ye rather to them that sell, and buy for yourselves. 10And while they went to buy, the bridegroom came; and they that were ready went in with him to the marriage: and the door was shut. 11Afterward came also the other virgins, saying, Lord, Lord, open to us. 12But he answered and said, Verily I say unto you, I know you not. 13Watch therefore, for ye know neither the day nor the hour wherein the Son of man cometh.

Also I exhort you to remember what the Sprit of God says in Ephesians 4:3 Endeavor to keep the unity of the Spirit.  Again that means to "make haste" to keep the unity.  God bless you, Kathy Mai

1/2/09

Romans  8:1 tells us there is therefore no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus,  who walk  not after the flesh, but after the Spirit.  If we are condemned there is a good chance we are in the flesh.  1 John 3:20 states if our hearts condemn us, God is greater than our heart, and knoweth all things.  Verse 21 states Beloved, if our heart condemn us not, then have we confidence toward God.   Also, Ephesians 4:3 tells us we should endeavor to keep the unity of the Spirit.   That means to make haste to keep the unity of the Spirit.   It is a good time to hearken to what the Spirit of God is saying.

12/24/08

Last night as we worshipped in the first hour these words of prophecy came into my heart.  There was not a place to share it at the time, so I will share it here with you.

Lift up the hands that hang down and make strait the feeble knees.  Submit yourself unto me, resist the devil and he will flee from you.  Draw nigh unto me, and I will draw nigh unto you. Purify your hearts and be not double minded.  Continue to humble yourselves before me and I will lift you up.  For my ways are not your ways, nor are my thoughts yours, but I am bringing you into a place in my spirit where your thoughts and ways will be mine.    So draw nigh unto your God and I will draw nigh unto you.

After ministering these words to me, I was reminded of where this can be found in the scriptures.  Hebrews 12, James 4, Isaiah 55 Also the Lord has been ministering to me for two weeks to Keep my heart with all diligence for out of it are the issues of life.  I encourage all of you to do the same.     This is found in  Proverbs 4:20-24.

God bless you,

Kathy

The Spirit of God was exhorting me Sunday morning 12/07/08 to stand fast in the librrty wherewith Christ hath made us free, and be not entangled again with the yoke of bondage.

A couple weeks ago I was praying about a situation in our home and the Lord began to speak to me out of Ezekiel 13 where the Lord is addressing the daughters of his people.  This past week a friend brought this up and God began to remind me of the things he said in this scripture.  Perhaps this will minister to some of you as well.

17Likewise, thou son of man, set thy face against the daughters of thy people, which prophesy out of their own heart; and prophesy thou against them,

18And say, Thus saith the Lord GOD; Woe to the women that sew pillows to all armholes, and make kerchiefs upon the head of every stature to hunt souls! Will ye hunt the souls of my people, and will ye save the souls alive that come unto you?

19And will ye pollute me among my people for handfuls of barley and for pieces of bread, to slay the souls that should not die, and to save the souls alive that should not live, by your lying to my people that hear your lies?

20Wherefore thus saith the Lord GOD; Behold, I am against your pillows, wherewith ye there hunt the souls to make them fly, and I will tear them from your arms, and will let the souls go, even the souls that ye hunt to make them fly.

21Your kerchiefs also will I tear, and deliver my people out of your hand, and they shall be no more in your hand to be hunted; and ye shall know that I am the LORD.

22Because with lies ye have made the heart of the righteous sad, whom I have not made sad; and strengthened the hands of the wicked, that he should not return from his wicked way, by promising him life:

23Therefore ye shall see no more vanity, nor divine divinations: for I will deliver my people out of your hand: and ye shall know that I am the LORD.

The last verse is powerful.   The Spirit of God says you will know that I am the Lord.  God bless you.
