The Curse Is Broken

Revelations 12:1l states
And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb, and by the word of their testimony; that is exactly what we are doing.  We are able to share these things with you as a result of the apostle-prophet ministry laying the foundation in our hearts.   That foundation being, Jesus Christ and him crucified.

In late l980, I was working for my dad in his vet practice, and I had just learned that I was pregnant with out first child (Candace).  Dad was out on calls, and Terry was working in the paint business at the time.  I received a phone call from the the ob/gyn's officeThe voice on the other end of the phone said, "Mrs. Mai, we have called to inform you that your pap smear has come back with a Class IV.  Well, I had worked for a couple pathologists in previous years, and typed these reports.  I knew this was not a report that I was wanting to receive.  I said, "Are you sure there isn't some mistake?"   She assured me there wasn't, and said they would like for me to make an appointment to have some biopsies.  Later that day Dad came back in the office to a not too happy camper, Kathy.  I shared with him the news, and he told me to talk to Terry that evening, and we would talk later.

I talked to Terry that evening, and frankly I think we were in a state of numbness.  Meanwhile, I was back in touch with the doctor's office and made an appointment to go in for the biopsies.  I began to say to myself, "Kathy you know the one raised from the dead and he can change anything."

One night during all this, Mom and Dad (Patti and Doyle Davidson) stopped by to catch up on the report.  Here I am in my first trimester of my pregnancy, and all I am receiving in negative reports.  I started crying out to God, and he began to remind me about the lady with the issue of blood, how she knew, if she could touch Jesus' garment, she would be made whole.   That night my Dad, and Terry began to pray for me.  As they were praying my Dad began to break second, third, and fourth generation curses over me and God began to deliver me from this curse.  I knew I was on the road to victory.  I was scheduled for the biopsies, and we all determined that I needed to keep that appointment, believe what happened that night, and move ahead.

I went in for those biopsies, and they were benign.  The doctors were somewhat bewildered.  I was sitting there thanking God for mercy and grace in my life.  I had seen him come through too many times before, and this was no different.  The doctors determined there must be something that, when I became pregnant, just changed everything.  They said, "We'll be keeping close tabs throughout this pregnancy, and do another pap smear after three months."  There were three doctors in this particular office, and up until this time, I had only seen two of them.  After all of this took place, God saw to it that I would see the third one.  I had been told that he wasn't the nicest, so I was a little apprehensive.  That was the devil that told me about him.  This doctor was not fearful.  It came time to do that pap smear, I believed through it, and they never did it.  God never let those other two doctors have appointments open on the days that I could come.  The third doctor delivered Candace.

That was only the beginning of the war.  I went into labor and Candace was born at 11:50 pm in August of l980.  As they were delivering her, I noticed my doctor was a little upset.  I began to freeze and shake uncontrollably.  I heard the doctor go to the phone and call one of the other partners.  Needless to say, I'm laying on the delivery table saying, "What is going on?" They finally came back and told Terry and I that they believed the baby had clipped the tip of my uterus with her shoulder.  I was loosing blood.  I heard the doctor tell them to cross-match blood, they were talking transfusion!  I was nauseated and ill.  Well, we made it through that, and as they wheeled me to recovery, I saw Mom and Dad, but no one really seemed too concerned about what was happening, not that they needed to be.  Everyone left me and went home.  I was feeling somewhat dismayed and very weak.  I made a simple statement to the Lord, I said, "Jesus, it isn't supposed to be like this".  Immediately, I felt the power of God flood my spirit and I began to overcome. The nurse walked in and I said, "I'm hungry, can you get me some food!"  Within a short time, I was moved to my own room, and I began to worship God until I fell off to sleep.  I was awakened by people all night, poking me and sticking needles in my arm to check my blood count.  I had an IV in my arm, it was a different experience, than I had imagined.  They next day, I was out of bed dragging that IV pole up and down the hall.  I saw the doctor that delivered Candace, and he said to the nurses, "Can you believe that is the same girl we brought in here twelve hours ago?"  I thought to myself,  " It isn't the same girl!"  This one is believing the gospel.  I kept walking up and down that hall dragging my IV and thanking God I was healed.  Then I moved into my room and began to dance.  Yes dance, I had just had a baby, and I was dancing and dragging my IV around the room.   The IV popped out of the vein in my hand, it just so happened the doctor on call, was one of the partners that I least cared for in the flesh.   I saw God move on that man's heart right before my eyes. He told the nurses, "Get this out of this girl's arm, she doesn't need this".  They never did give me any kind of blood, or iron or anything else.  Jesus had come through, just like he did with the lady with the issue of blood.  That simple prayer brought his power in my life.  There were immediate results.  Thank you Jesus for your mercy in my life.

Needless to say, I have had two daughters since that time with no reoccurring problems.  That curse was broken the night in my living room.  When Jesus sets you free, you are free. This is why we share with you to believe the gospel.  Trust in, rely on, adhere to (that's believing), the death, burial and resurrection of the Lord Jesus.  Romans 1:16 tells us that the gospel is the power of God unto salvation.  I have shared with you that salvation means to be made sound, set at safety, delivered from every hindering influence.   I definitely obtained salvation in this situation.  There is nothing too difficult for God, he said, If thou canst believe, all things are possible to him that believeth. I will share this with you, the other two girls were born in a totally different situation than this one.  Oh, there were overcomings with them also, as you might have read in Ashley, but thank God, he caused us to triumph in each one.  Ashley was delivered in four hours and Rachel in seventeen and a half minutes after we arrived at the hospital.  I went home eight hours after Rachel and ate Mexican food that night with my parents at our favorite restaurant.  That's the power of God.

I just thank God for his mercy in my life.  Hebrews 4:15-16:  For we have not an high priest which cannot be touched with the feeling of our infirmities; but was in all points tempted like as we are, yet without sin. Let us therefore come boldly unto the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy, and find grace to help in time of need.

God Heals

Back in the early years when I still lived with my folks.  We lived in a little town over by Denton and Lewisville, called Argyle.  My Dad was teaching a small group of people and one night we had gone to one of their houses for dinner.  The lady of the house asked Dad if he would mind praying for her.  Dad believed that it was right and he began to pray.   I was sitting across the room minding my own business, and joining my faith with Dad, when the power of God hit me.  I began to shake like I had never shaken before, I was like a person having convulsions.  I wasn't afraid, because I knew that something was coming out of me.  This seemed like it went on for eternity.    I have to say, I have shaken many times since then when God was ministering to me, but I think this was the most intense in my entire walk with Jesus.  I heard my dad say, "God is healing her nerves."  I thought to myself, "That's easy for you to say!"  The people watching though, said it looked as dramatic, as it felt.  I had always been a very nervous person.  My hands would shake uncontrollably sometimes.  I began to notice changes, dramatic changes, everywhere in my life, as a result of overcoming this spirit.  The Lord started ministering to me back in the very beginning and he has never stopped.  I thank him for what he has done in my heart and in my life.

Another time when we were living in Argyle, a friend and I went to the Irving Mall.  I was returning to Grayson County Junior College the next day and we had gone to pick up some last minute things.  We were on our way home, and as we approached this large hill, I began to pray in other tongues.  It actually rolled up out of my spirit.  We went over the hill, and my friend and I were rejoicing in the things we found. I glanced over at her, and then back.  As I looked back, we were being approached by a white van.  It was in our lane, heading right for us.  I swerved to miss the van and as I did, my wheel caught a dip in the road, and I lost control of the car.  I remember driving the whole time, and I said to my friend, "Hang on Neddra."  We hit a concrete bridge once, it threw us to the other side, we hit it, and the car spun around, and stopped back on the side we'd hit first.  I was thrown into the steering wheel.  When I awoke, I looked to see if my friend was alright.   My steering wheel was bent backwards from the pressure of my hands (still driving).  There on the steering wheel were my eyelashes.  I heard noise all around me, and people were trying to pry us out of the car.  The car was smoking, and the drive shaft had come up through the console, I could tell by what was going on around me, it wasn't good.   They finally got us out of the car.  I was praying all the time, unknowingly.  The police came, they called a wrecker, and when they lifted my car onto the wrecker, the bottom fell out.  I thought to myself, "O thank God. "  My friend came out with only bruises.

I had tried to reach my folks, but they were at an horse show in Dallas.  No one could find them.  Neddra found her parents and they met us at the hospital.  They said they wanted to x-ray my face and eye.  I said, "OK."  At this point, my only concern was what Dad was going to say.  The x-rays showed that the impact of the steering wheel had cracked the bone under my eye.  My eyelashes were almost all gone and I was cracked.!!

Neddra's parents took us home.   I walked in the house and my Dad honestly thought I had been in a fight.  He said, "What in the world happened to you?"  I explained to him about the wreck.  He replied, "Well, I'll tell you this, you are not going back to that school tomorrow."  I didn't either, but the next day, my grandfather drove down from Missouri and brought my horse.  God is merciful, even when we mess up.  You see it was not the will of God for me to go back to that particular college.  I was a new Christian, and frankly, barely(I mean barely), had the foundation in my heart.  I was not yet established in this gospel.

My dad went down the next day to see the car.  He knew when he saw it, that God had spared my life.  It was totaled.  One of the men at the pound made a statement about me, my dad asked him what he meant.  He replied, "You have a remarkable daughter, when we got to her, she was praying in another language."

Well, the Father healed my face totally.  I have to say, I really didn't know much about the gospel at this time, but I believed God could heal.  Not only that, he dealt with my heart about doing what he wanted and not what I wanted.  I wish I could tell you that I had walked holy from my mother's womb, but I'm not a liar.  I didn't just walk in the spirit at all times then, I had some rebellion to over come in my life.  I stayed home and enrolled in North Texas in Denton.  God blessed me and also continued to lay that foundation in my heart of Jesus Christ and him crucified.  He led me in a path that was pleasing to him, and caused me to start possessing my soul.

There is nothing in this world that can make us complete and whole but the power of God unto salvation.  Years ago, I determined to know nothing but Jesus Christ and him crucified.  I am not one bit sorry.  I have come to know Jesus personally over the years and the power of his resurrection.  I have seen him do the impossible.

Just believe this gospel.  God will take your life and teach you to be led by his spirit.  Well, I'll talk to you again soon.

The First Curse

I always appreciate the opportunity to come to you here on the internet and share the things that I have overcome in my life.  This has been in my spirit for several days, and I think it would be best just to obey God.  Not that I have problem sharing this overcoming, just how to word it, so I won't offend anyone.  I know this, Jesus didn't mince words, so I'll just be led by the spirit and let him tell this.  I know there is someone out there who needs this, or the Father wouldn't have me share it with you.   I'm sure I could probably set a lot of people free, because we used to talk about things at our dinner table that would offend most people.  Dad would share with us cases he was treating, and we didn't think anything about it.

I have shared with you in previous overcomings how God dealt with my life and heart right away after I received him.  When I was a young girl growing up, I had problems in the area of my reproductive system.   I had severe cramping with very heavy bleeding every time my cycle rolled around.  This was not a comfortable situation.  Sometimes the bleeding was so heavy and the cramping so severe, I literally bent over to bare the pain.  One of my parents had to come to pick me up at school quite often.  I would just go home, lay down, and try a few pain killers, but nothing seemed to phase the situation.  It was particularly bad during my middle school years.  Things lifted some in high school but was still an embarrassing situation.  I'll just say that it was not something a modest teen really wanted to deal with.  It didn't seem like any of my friends had anything this severe in their bodies.  Also, it didn't just go on for a day or two but throughout my whole cycle.

One day while I was living in Argyle, Texas with my folks, I had a similar attack hit my body.  My dad began to pray for me and break a witchcraft curse over my life.  I thought, "This is a little strange."  I was just a babe in the Lord at the time, but I had confidence that my dad knew what he was doing, so I just humbled myself and accepted the prayer.  The spirit of God began to minister to me, and things began to come out of my inner most being.  Much to my amazement, I felt a spirit of witchcraft leave my body.  I have never had those problems again.  When Dad broke that witchcraft curse over my life, I was healed in my body.  I had a little understanding of how the lady with the issue of blood had felt when she touched Jesus' garment  and was made whole.  That is exactly what happened in my life.  I have never experienced the heavy bleeding and cramping since that day.  That is the power of God!  Yes, there was an experience with Rachel, but I overcame it by blessing religious friends and not having to break a curse.  You know, there are so many lies and old wives tales' out there, and they are nothing but witchcraft.  I remember one time when I was pregnant with Candace, and I reached my arms up to get something,  my grandmother said, "Don't do that!  You'll wrap the cord around the baby's neck and choke it."  I didn't hesitate one minute to tell her, "That is an old wives tale, and that is a LIE!!!"  I'm sure those sitting around me thought I was being disrespectful to my grandmother, but I was not going to accept a lie.  Lies have been falsely ministered to all of us about being a woman.  Well, you know, God created the body, and he didn't create it to have problems.  He was well in control when he created the reproductive system in a female and a male.  If there is something not working in our bodies correctly, then more than likely there is a curse that needs to be broken.  As for the emotional things that go along with the female body, that is also a lie.  PMS is nothing but Jezebel M S.  Tell me where in the scripture it says a woman can use this excuse to get her way.  I will tell you, No Where!  Where does it say in scripture that women have to go through all this other stuff when they pass the flower of age, so to speak.  I never even believed that in the flesh, but that is how the Jezebels  have perverted this generation.   I understand, though, it is in people's hearts, and it has to be ministered by the spirit of God.  It was in my heart as well, but I was presented with the truth.  Now, you are too.  We may have just thought this is a part of life.  WRONG!!   Jesus said in Matthew 15:10-11: Hear and understand:  Not that which goeth into the mouth defileth a man; but that which cometh out of the mouth, this defileth a man.  He goes on in verse 18 to say: But those things which proceed out of the mouth come forth from the heart; and they defile the man.  So, there are things in our hearts that have been ministered to us down through the generations, and Jesus came to set us free from all these.  One day the spirit of God led me to break this curse over one of our girls.  They, too, have never experienced some of the problems they did prior to that curse being broken.  See, what I'm saying, God is no respecter of age, gender, or anything else.  He said  if we could believe all things are possible.  I chose to believe that.

I'll tell you what it is time for us to do.  It is time to believe this gospel.  We need to believe what Jesus did for us when he died, was buried, and rose the third day.  He took every female curse as well as all the rest of the curses.  He took every sickness and disease, every emotional torment, every despairing thought.  He took it all on his body on the cross.  He also overcame it when he rose from the dead.  Jesus is our example.  When we are tempted to believe the lies that have been ministered to women down through the generations, then we need to set our hearts on this gospel.  The power of God can help us overcome anything physical, mental, or whatever.  It's time for us to gird up our loins and act like women of God and not some little frail thing trying to manipulate everything with it's frailty.  The spirit that lives within us is life.   Remember, I talked to you in the past about the spirit that is within us.  If we trust in that spirit, we won't consider our bodies.  We'll consider, I'm overcoming this lie.  Jesus trusted in that spirit.  That spirit sustained him through the cross, hell, and coming out of the grave in triumph.  That spirit lives inside of us and will sustain us if we will yield to it.  There is no sickness or disease too large for the Father to heal.  All we have to do is believe that.  Jesus performed the gospel for all of us.  He didn't just pick out a few and say it's for you.
"Now, Father, in the name of Jesus, I just break the power of witchcraft curses over every person that reads this overcoming.  I thank you the power that raised Jesus from the dead rests upon every person to convince of sin, righteousness, and judgement.  Thank you, Father, for setting this people free to worship you in spirit and in truth;  to walk upright in this gospel.  Grant unto them a spirit of wisdom and a revelation in the knowledge of you; open the eyes of their understanding that they may know the hope of your calling, and that your people may know the exceeding greatness of your power to usward who believe.  Thank you, Father, for setting your people free now from all witchcraft curses."

Paul said in I Cor. 2:1-5:  And I, brethren, when I came to you, came not with excellency of speech or of wisdom, declaring unto you the testimony of God.  For I determined not to know any thing among you, save Jesus Christ, and him crucified.  And I was with you in weakness, and in fear, and in much trembling.  And my speech and my preaching was not with enticing words of man's wisdom, but in demonstration of the Spirit and of power:  That your faith should not stand in the wisdom of men, but in the power of God.  This is what I want to see in every person's life where God leads me.

Well God bless you and believe this gospel.
