Washington, DC, Virginia, &
Maryland
We arrived at Dulles Airport near Resdon,Virginia after a smooth flight from DFW with
anticipation of less difficulty with traffic than Reagan Airport near to DC. At this
point we were informed of a slight delay of the "People Movers"(new experience),
which transfers passengers from the plane to the terminal. Then there was a delay
with the baggage, and finally another delay with the rental car. Actually, it took
us nearly two hours to get through the airport. However, we remained fairly calm
throughout the situation as we realized the beginning of the spiritual resistance to what
we were about to do. When we got in the car and headed toward Alexandria, VA.,
we immediately began to press forcefully against the principalities, powers, rulers, and
spiritual wickednesses as God led, and the prayer in Joel that we have prayed for several
months, "Spare thy people, Lord", came out of my heart, and there was a release
in the Spirit, which was great relief and encouragement to what God had sent us to
do! After checking into the hotel, which I was not aware was near Arlington National
Cemetery and the Pentagon, at about 10:00 PM, I believed it was right to go over into
Washington, DC across the Potomac and pray yet that night and not wait until
morning. Just to let you know, I have been to Washington, DC on at least three other
occasions with no trouble finding my way around the city, but this time we were there by
ourselves sent by the Spirit of God, and the devil did not approve! After I crossed
the river and passed the Jefferson Memorial, I exited toward the National Mall area and
immediately experienced total confusion. For about the next 30 minutes as we were
fighting in prayer, it was as if I could not tell right from left, east from west, north
from south, or up from down, my eyes crossed, and my vision blurred excessively, and fear
like I have never experienced tried to overwhelm my heart! I thank God for Kathy as
she did not get offended at my intolerable responses when she made a couple of comments
trying to help! In nearly 30 years of knowing me, Kathy had never seen me like
this, and later she told me that she thought but did not say, "Terry, you need to get
hold of your heart!", and she just continued to pray. Finally, I began to be
reminded that God sent us here, and He will have to get us out! When I said those
words out of my heart, peace began to come, and we found ourselves in front of the
National Cathedral, which I had visited on previous trips but didn't recognize it until
the peace of God began to minister to my heart! Now religious people will say,
"Well, the peace came because you found the church." Let me tell you, that
building had nothing to do with any of it! The power of God caused me to overcome
the tremendous opposition of the devil to us coming to pray in our National Capital and to
continue to rest of the states. I am convinced that the devils purpose was if he
could stop us here, we would not continue to rest of the country, and you will see in the
coming writings, this was not his last effort to thwart what God intended. However,
we did overcome this attack and headed back toward the Capitol grounds and made several
circles around the National Mall before calling it a night rejoicing all the way and
praising God for His mercy and grace on our lives. I thought later we were most
likely captured on video surveillance camera driving around the Capitol praying as it was
midnight with little to no traffic, so now the government has us on record! Praise
God! The following morning we headed back into Washington, DC and remained in and
around the government area passing around the White House block four times and praying for
our President to be strengthened to stand for God's will and purposes. We also
prayed around the Capitol and the Supreme Court several times, and each time we were led
in that direction, the prayer became more intense, and Kathy described pains that were
similar to labor pains. The following week it was reported that the Supreme Court
had overturned partial-birth abortion and the House and Senate had yielded to a hard stand
request of the President. I know that God caused those things to happen and that it
had nothing to do with our righteousness, but our obedience, and we are grateful!
We continued on into Maryland, and I
began to experience, although not as intense, the same confusion from DC. This time,
however, I got hold of it rather quickly as we were coming against principalities and
witchcraft as many of the national medical offices are located there along with Bethesda
Naval Medical Center, Walter Reed Army Hospital, and the University of Maryland. We
were traveling west on 495 Beltway and came across a massive contemporary structure with
several pointed steeple protrusions. I began to experience internal pains and
blurred vision, and God began to lead me to violently resist religious spirits, and I
overcame the physical adversities when we overcame those spirits. I later discovered
that the facility we saw was a large Mormon temple. As we headed back into Virginia,
the Spirit of God began to pray a prayer through me out of Genesis 18 as Abraham
interceded before the Lord and said, "Wilt thou destroy the righteous with the
wicked? That be far from you Lord, to slay the righteous with the wicked. Shall not the
judge of the whole earth do right?" There was tremendous intercession in my
heart with this prayer and strength as I repeated it forcefully. God deepened his love in
our hearts for this country and his people as we began this journey to the states.
We arrived back to Dulles Airport in Virginia about 2 hours before our departure to
Newark, NJ, and the flight appeared on time. However, when we arrived at our Gate,
we were informed the plane was to depart from another Terminal Gate. When we arrived at
the new gate, we were informed the flight was delayed 2 hours. We then began to hear
rumors of possible cancellation, and I told Kathy emphatically, "This is nothing but
the devil, and it's not going to happen!!" After over an hour of intense
praying walking around the terminal, at least 3 time changes at the gate, and calmly
watching other irate passengers complaining, they announced our first boarding call, but
we continued to pray all the way to New Jersey. The warfare was indescribable, but
the overcoming victory of the adversity was worth it to experience the power of God
strengthen us and cause us to stand and see the salvation of God!

New Jersey, New York, and Connecticut
After overcoming in Dulles and flying into Newark, New Jersey, Kathy and I headed straight into New York City. We engaged in spiritual warfare immediately, which was fine, because that is what God had sent us to do. We were sent to pray for this nation and overcome principalities, powers, rulers of the darkness of this world, and spiritual wickedness over these areas. Although, I have been in New York City before, I found myself in somewhat the same state that I had encountered in Washington, DC. It was like we were trapped in a web, and we couldn't get out. I am reminded in Ecclesiastes 7:26 as Solomon states, "I find more bitter than death the woman, whose heart is snares and nets, and her hands bands; whoso pleaseth God shall escape from her." We were endeavoring to go uptown toward Manhattan, and we kept coming in a circle back downtown to the Staten Island Ferry! It was as though I could not get out of this certain area. There was much warfare with intense pressure, and honestly I was encountering spirits that I knew I had experienced, but definitely not to this degree. On the previous trips to pray for our nation, I was the designated driver, and even though I was praying with the rest of the group, there was someone else in the car heading off the principalities and powers. In those particular situations, that was Doyle. Now the Spirit of God had sent me to overcome. There were times of great pressures and trials, but we watched God bring us through every one of them. One thing Kathy and I both believe is that if God sends you somewhere, he will get you home. That is a proven fact in our lives over the past 28 years. When I stopped, got hold of my heart, and made that declaration, immediately I began to overcome, and we got clear direction toward Manhattan. As we continued to drive through the heart of the city, there was strong intercession in our hearts for the people as we passed by way of Park Ave. into Harlem. We spent quite some time praying here and compassion was in our hearts as we were driving through what is considered the poor areas of New York City. I understood more about this later. As we emerged out of the north edge of the city and were heading toward New Rochelle, where we would spend the night, I was overwhelmed by a spirit. My eyes were burning and blurring, and I was in a tremendous contest. Kathy said, "Terry, you better get a hold of yourself!" I wanted to say, "Shut up, woman!" Now some of you women will think whatever, but Kathy knows me. She does not let a whole lot bother her, especially if she realizes she should have been still. I did begin to tell her what I was experiencing, and as I began to talk to her, my eyes cleared up, I overcame the spirit I was wrestling with, and I found myself headed in the right direction. After I had overcome the tremendous spiritual contest as we were coming out of the city, a gentle rain began to fall on us, and we began to thank God for his mercy and grace upon our lives. Early the next morning we headed on up toward Connecticut. As we passed by White Plains, NY, one of the richest communities per capita in the nation, I was led by the Spirit of God to bless the Clintons and pray especially for Hillary, as they live just a few miles north. Also the Lord led me to pray, "Let not the rich oppress the poor.." several times, and "will not the judge of the whole do right!!" I was reminded the last time we came this direction from New York into Connecticut it was snowing, and the snow came down harder as we entered the state. It took us over 3 hours to return to Newark Airport in about 6 inches of snow by the time we returned about 35 miles. It was reported the next day that only 5 planes were able to take off from Newark Airport that day, and all the other airfields in New York and New Jersey were closed. We were one of the 5 planes. This time it was raining and increasing in strength, and we knew we needed to head back to New Jersey. There was a lot of rain and a very low ceiling. Fortunately, we got back quite a while before our flight, so we sat in a parking lot in New Jersey praying, and it appeared the harder we prayed, the harder it rained, but we gave it all we had for another 45 minutes or so. Finally, we could tell we were breaking through in the Spirit, and it began to clear up a bit. We then headed on to the airport, checked in our bag, and got our boarding passes. While we were sitting in the Newark Airport, we began to see a very dense fog move in. Kathy sat there praying and resisting the devil while I was up walking and praying in the terminal. We watched that fog move in and out. The planes were lining up sometimes 10 to 12 deep waiting for clearance to take off. The devil was saying,"You're not going home this time!", and I told Kathy, "We are going home!! We have done what God sent us to do!" Interestingly, I came eye to eye with a pilot who flew us on Charter flights about 6 years ago, and we exchanged greetings and updates. Actually, he was flying back on our flight and expressed concern about cancellation, and I reminded him about some of our experiences when he flew us several years ago like the plane trying to go into a roll on a return trip from South Bend, IN. He replied, "Yes, I remember!" I boldly declared, "We'll make it!" Our flight went from possibly cancelled to a minimum 2-hour delay to boarding in 45 minutes, and as it was announced for boarding, I looked at our pilot friend, and he just smiled. However, when we finally boarded the plane, it was like they were moving in slow motion. Kathy said in her heart to the Lord, "If you don't care that we get out of here, then neither do I, but I will remind you of this one thing. You have always gotten us home!" Right as she finished saying that to the Lord, our plane began to back out. Not only that, but there were only a couple of planes in front of us waiting for clearance to take off. As we were flying home, our daughter, Candace, heard that flights were delayed over 2 hours coming out of Newark as the rain intensified after we left. In fact, it continued to rain throughout the entire area for several days with floods following. Once again we saw God demonstrate his power on our behalf. We encourage all who read these testimonies of our experiences to believe the gospel. The power of God works in anyone who believes. I would like to add something here. The morning we were leaving for Washington DC the Lord spoke to us out of Romans 11:22 - Behold the goodness and severity of God. I will not get into it, you can read it for yourself, but God was saying he was showing his goodness toward us. If we don't continue to believe, then we can fall into his severity, and I don't want God on my case. Hopefully, none of you who read these writings do either. This is what provokes me to obey his voice, because I can read what happens to people that don't believe. Trust me I have had to fight unbelief just like anyone, but the Lord has always granted me the grace it overcome. You know how to overcome unbelief? Repent, and believe the gospel.

Massachusetts, Maine, New Hampshire, Vermont, & Rhode Island
After completing our trip to the Washington and New York areas, Kathy and I were excited to get back to what God had sent us to do. We are always praying for our leaders and this nation, because I Timothy 2:1-3 instructs us to, but now God was sending us to each of the 48 mainland states to pray in them. Nearly a week transpired between our trip to New Jersey and the scheduled trip to Boston, and measurable rain and storms continued up the Eastern Coast almost every day with reports of much flooding and destruction and little relief in sight. The devil tried to cause me to doubt if we would be able to go, but I continued to resist those thoughts. The day before we were to leave for Boston, the weather began to miracurlously change for the better, and we left the following morning right on time without any problems! It was still overcast when we arrived, but within 30 minutes out on the road toward Maine, the sun popped through the clouds. After that, we experienced only light showers on occasion especially when we needed a little encouragement from the Lord. We went into Kittery and York, two of the first places we later discovered that were settled in Maine. In fact, York, Maine originally was considered at the start to be the major port that Boston became, but because of some questionable financial influence, the direction changed about 150 miles south according to recorded history. We discovered the major storms mentioned earlier had overwhelmed this area, but the Lord cleared the way for us to obey his will, and they were spared complete devastation, praise God! After praying in Maine for a while, we headed up the road across New Hampshire toward Vermont. As we entered into New Hampshire we saw a sign saying "Welcome to New Hampshire." At the bottom of this sign was the state motto that said, "Live free, or die." Kathy said, "Boy, that is the truth!!" She was referring to walking in the things of the Kingdom of God as well as in the flesh. The Spirit of God opened our understanding to the length the Lord went so this nation could be raised up to preach the gospel of the Kingdom of God. We both gained a deeper understanding and appreciation for the men and women who had fought and given their lives to establish this nation. It was ordained before the foundation of the world that America would be a nation to demonstrate the power of God. As we continued through the state of New Hampshire, there was tremendous warfare, particularly "witchcraft", but we knew we were making progress in the spirit. We reached White River Junction, Vermont, known as the first railroad station in Vermont and New England north of Boston, and we saw a sign that said "Woodstock". Our thought was, "Do you suppose this is where the celebration took place in the late 1960's(my era)." I later remembered the original "Woodstock" took place in New York. However, it triggered something that I didn't even know still existed in my heart, and it was just another opportunity to overcome some more of the world that had influenced my life in preceding years. Thank God for his mercy and grace on us all! We prayed in Vermont until we knew we had overcome, and we proceeded back through New Hampshire to the state capital, Concord. We were in a tremendous spiritual contest and were reminded that New Hampshire, a relatively small populated state, plays a major role in the political arena of our country. We were always thanking God for those in authority in these states, interceding and offering up prayers and supplications for the governors, senators, congressmen or women, and all those in authority in these specific areas. As I stated earlier, I Timothy 2 instructs us all how to pray that we might lead a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and honesty. This was our direction for Concord, New Hampshire, as we spent time in that area praying for their leaders and for the upcoming political stage. We then turned toward Boston and prayed intently until about 7:00 PM CST, and we decided to get a bite to eat and to get a room for the night. After checking in to our hotel in Boston, it would not leave either of our spirits to go on to Rhode Island that evening. So we hopped back into our car and headed toward Providence, Rhode Island. There was tremendous resistance, but by this time, the Lord had brought us through so many wars and caused us to overcome each one of them, we thought, "What's one more!" I know that may sound ridiculous to some, but those that have engaged in spiritual warfare of any kind will understand what I am saying. I used to listen to Doyle, and I thought, "Sure I know that." Well, Kathy and I both got a greater revelation of spiritual warfare on these trips to the states. None of us have arrived, and we can all learn more about the things of the Spirit. We were reminded that it was not because of our righteousness that we were able to accomplish any of these trips, but it was his mercy and grace on us to cause us to obey and fulfil his righteousness to the nation. However, I am grateful that I have had someone physical to teach and show me the things of the Spirit of God, because had I not, the devil could have eaten me alive. Obviously, when God sent us to do this, he knew we were ready. We sure didn't, but as I stated in a previous testimony, God proved himself to us and caused us to triumph. As we moved out of the Boston area, things seemed to get a little lighter in the Spirit as we trucked on down the road toward Rhode Island. As we approached the Providence area, we encountered what seemed to be a deluge of religious spirits, and I recalled in history that the first Baptist church was founded in Providence. While I was driving through the city, I pointed out to Kathy, "Look at all the steeples!" In every direction, there was one protruding steeple after another, and they were not all Baptist, but it was obvious religion has a tremendous influence in the spirit in this area. At least that is what we were overcoming as we continued to pray there until I knew it was time to head back to Boston. When we turned back toward Boston, my heart was probably ready for a break, but instead, we met with tremendous warfare, which was fine. After all, I knew we were not sent on some joy ride or a scenic pleasure vacation. We spent sometimes 10 to 12 hours driving in many states praying with all that was with in us, which is not a complaint, just a fact. It was one of the hardest things I have experienced in my walk with the Lord over the past 28 years, yet one of the most gratifying. Why? Because it was the will of God for our lives! As we continued to pray until well after midnight in the Boston area, I was reminded of our experience there that every time we were approached Boston, the pressure increased, and I concluded it was obviously the major principalities and powers over this area that we were engaging and overcoming. After we arrived back home, I researched and discovered that Boston has more religious and educational institutions than any other city in the country. It is a major port, a financial leader, an industrial leader, a medical leader, and a political leader. In other words, it is one of the most diverse cities in the nation to lead in many areas and influence our entire nation. Kathy and I are convinced we have just begun to see that things that God has for his people. I encourage you to believe this gospel. The Lord will work for anyone that believes his power. Also, I encourage the body of Christ to continue to join us in praying and fasting for our nation.

Prayer In New Orleans, LA, New Mexico, & Arizona
I have stated how that we returned
from an eventful overcoming day in New Orleans, Louisiana praying for our country, but
before I share some of the details, I want to express a few words about our experience in
New Mexico and Arizona. When we arrived in Albuquerque, NM, I immediately saw a sign in
the airport describing the state as it is known, "The Land of Enchantment".
Enchantment is defined as fascinate, charm, or put a magic spell upon! The
primary description biblically is to secretly perform spells on someone or some situation.
Bottom line is that it is sorcery or witchcraft. Therefore, I'm sure you
should know what spirits we encountered virtually the entire trip. As most of you
are probably aware, these two states were primarily settled by Indians, which we know
worshipped things like the Sun, etc., and there is still evidence of that occurring today.
Prior to our arrival for several days, it had been reported that the temperature
was intense triple digits, some over 110 degrees with no rain. Those temps broke two
days before we went and were in the mid 70's by the time we arrived, and it rained all
across the area at some time during the period we drove through these two states.
Thank God for His mercy on all. I have been reminded many times on our trips across
the country how Jesus stated that rain falls on the just and the unjust, and we have
prayed that many times with visible results! Amen! Most of the terrain across these
states is considered the foothills of the Rocky Mountains, and although there are
beautiful rock formations to observe, that is about the only use for the land. It is
desolate and rocky with minimal use for animal grazing or crop produce. Of course,
the bible describes lands of desolation are a result of a curse on the land because of
disobedience to follow the words of God. Certainly this land could be described this
way because of the worshipping of false gods! There are other details I may share at
a later time about these two states as God directs, but I need to move on to our trip to
New Orleans.
How many of you heard about the hurricane
"Umberto", which was described by the national news as the fastest forming
hurricane in the history of weather records? On Wednesday evening, the report that I
heard was a tropical storm with minimal intensity was to hit the Texas border and travel
North-Northeast, and by all indications would not be a problem for us on our trip the
following day to New Orleans. Some of you may recall on that Wednesday night the
Spirit of God out of Doyle's mouth encouraged me not to let down just because this was our
final trip across the country, but to keep pressing through the end. I took those
words to heart thankfully, as the next morning, we awoke to the news report that
"Umbertto" had materialized into a full-fledged hurricane, and they were showing
ominous(their description) clouds over New Orleans. Needless to say there was
opportunity to doubt, but we held fast to the Kingdom of God! We continued to hear
negative reports at the airport, on the plane, and when we arrived in New Orleans, but we
were not moved by what we saw or what we heard. In fact, it was dry when we arrived
and remained that way for almost two hours as we drove around the city and prayed.
God led us to one area on our way downtown where our hearts were gripped with compassion
as we saw what I would describe as possibly former government housing or projects that
have not been restored since "Katrina" with windows all boarded up and fences
around them to declare them condemned or not livable. However, we saw doors open,
and people were obviously living somehow inside. It was incredible to consider,
especially when we arrived in downtown where all the money has been used to restore where
the tourists come. Actually, the sky appeared to be getting lighter as we headed
further toward the Southeast and into the French Quarter with it's openly stated
witchcraft on signs like "VOODOO Convenience"! Then I turned to head back
Northwest, and all we could see was black sky before us! Immediately, Kathy and I
began to challenge the forces of the devil over that storm to stop, back off, or
disintegrate! We have encountered many physical storms over the years, as well as
several on the trips across the country this past 6 months, and God has always caused us
to triumph, so I knew He would do it again. However, if we would have entertained
what we experienced in the next 30 minutes, we would have not made it! A short time
before we were to arrive back at the airport, a torrential downpour dropped on us, but we
did not stop plowing against the principalities, powers, rulers, and spiritual wicknesses
that God sent us there to fight and kept our heart fixed on the Kingdom of God.
After about 20 minutes of driving in the driving rain as it was time to return the car, we
began to overcome, and the rain began to become less and less. However, when we
arrived at the car rental, there were at least 6 other cars who had arrived just ahead of
us for car return, and it looked like we were going to be late for our flight. I
inquired inside if we could quickly return the car so as not to miss our flight, and a man
next to me retorted, "If you have one!" implying that it probably would be
cancelled, which was an opportunity to doubt. I firmly but calmly replied, "We
will have a flight!!" to which he ducked his head and walked away. That seemed
to be the final shot that the devil threw at us, but we did not stop pressing in the
Spirit even though we boarded our plane, arrived home, and made it back to Plano in time
to see God cast out some more devils! Amen! I discovered on later reports that there
had been anywhere from 1.5 to 3 inches of rain in thirty minutes, which caused flash
flooding in areas north and west of where we were located. Then the storm proceeded
Northeast across the country without any more damage! Again, I thank God for His
mercy and grace on us all! Praise The Lord!!

Prayer in Illinois & Wisconsin
Upon arriving in Chicago and leaving the airport, we immediately encountered a traffic jam on the northwest artery toward Madison, Wisconsin. I point this out because I was reminded of all of our previous trips to the Chicago area, and I now have traveled nearly every artery in and out of Chicago from all directions and have experienced traffic jams on every one of them. We overcame this traffic jam rather rapidly as we had learned through all of the others. We prayed through it! The interesting point is to notice that while we are pressing with all that is in us, the traffic keeps moving. However, if we would let up just a little, the traffic would come to a halt, so we kept pressing with all that was in us right through the jam. Praise God!! Kathy had remarked on the plane as we were approaching, "You can tell we're coming to Chicago!" The oppression was unbelievable as it always is. It is difficult to imagine how all this mass of people can survive living in this constant oppressive condition all the time, but actually, most of them don't even realize they are oppressed just as all of us did not know we were dead in our sins and trespasses(Eph. 2) I thank God for the revelation of the Gospel to overcome all the oppression of devil, and that is how we overcame the oppression in Chicago and all of the other places that God has sent us to pray! Now this brings us to Madison, WI, and one might think it would not be near as difficult here as Chicago, because it is not near as large. Well, don't be deceived by size, because the devil resides in all places that will allow him, and Madison is no different. As we were heading toward the center of town, the traffic congestion began to intensify along with the pressure. I soon found myself in the middle of the University of Wisconsin where several thousand students had just arrived for the beginning of the fall semester, and there was total pandemonium around us! We have learned throughout these trips to always be prepared for anything that may arise as Jesus was never moved by anything that occurred around him, and we were not moved by the confusion around us either! We continued to press in prayer as we had been doing and trusted the Spirit of God to lead us through the turmoil, and he quickly did! But the pressure did not subside and more road blocks would pop up in front of us, and Kathy was experiencing lower back pain as well. We said either God was trying to deliver her of something, or it was the power of God coming against something there, or both, and we continued to pray. Finally, through much intense spiritual and physical adversity, we arrived at the state capital of Wisconsin. I candidly commented to Kathy upon arriving at the capital that it is obvious the devil was trying to keep us from getting there, but thank God, we made it! After we prayed around this area for some time for all that were in authority in the state and so forth as God led, we headed back down from the capital, and two blocks away from the capital right in front of us was the Masonic Center for Wisconsin. Immediately, we said, "Look! I bind witchcraft!" simultaneously about three times, and then began to chuckle because you could not have rehearsed it that well to perform it that good! I declared to Kathy, "Do you think the spirit with that organization may influence the actions of the state legislature being this close?!" We continued to bind the ruler of that organization for some time after that! I previously stated "down" when describing leaving the capital. Over our visits to the states across the country, we have visited more than half of the capitals including our nations capitol, Washington, DC, and many of capital buildings are built on high points with the buildings around them being lower, and all of the main streets go straight to them with no obstruction to the view. Could there possibly be some idolatry involved with these constructions? Just a thought! As we continued across Wisconsin toward Milwaukee, we continued to bind principalities, powers, rulers, and spiritual wickedness as the Spirit of God led us, and we began to bind religious spirits, particularly Catholic and Lutheran among others. As we approached Milwaukee, we saw a sign for a Faith Lutheran College, and I was reminded of Lutheran background in my family from six generations ago, and I overcame some more of that, which I didn't even know was there! Thank God! To continue, I had been informed prior to our trip to Wisconsin that one of our family in the Lord in Milwaukee had come under attack of the devil, and I had inquired where they were located, but I did not contact anyone there before arrival as we were only going to stop if God led! Well, God said, "Go!", and it was less than a mile off of our route. We were there less than thirty minutes, but we were strengthened and blessed as much as they were by the Spirit and power of God! I thank God for his mercy and grace on all of us, Amen?! We proceeded back toward Chicago and spent the rest of the evening and following morning overcoming principalities, etc. over those areas around Chicago, particularly on this trip in some of the western suburbs where Kathy spent several months at a younger age when Doyle was working with a veterinarian in that area. Needless to say, it was another overcoming of the principalities in these areas as well as overcoming things in our own hearts, which always occurs when we believe the Gospel! God bless!

Prayer In Kentucky & West Virginia
We arrived in Lexington, Ky. and headed out toward Charleston, WV. It has become interesting to me how we have encountered many of the same spirits in prayer across all of the states, but we have discovered how the spirits manifest in different ways. For example, as we approached West Virginia, traveling through Huntington, WV, tremendous oppression tried to overwhelm us as we were binding witchcraft, sorcery, and the oppression of Jezebel, which continued for over 50 miles until we came near Charleston, WV, and we began to overcome in the Spirit. We then remembered the last time we came to Charleston with Doyle and company in 04 and headed south through coal mining country, we experienced the same oppressive spirits. This time, however, we came from the west into the state. This is just another example of a principality or ruler which is over an entire state or region as we have gone into other states from a different direction and region. While praying in Charleston, the capital, there was opposition, and we overcame the battles, but they were much lighter than on the way there. In fact when we began to return back toward Kentucky, we again encountered much oppression as before. However, this time we were more prepared and overcame it much more rapidly. One interesting part of Charleston to me was that in most cities, there are areas zoned for commercial, residential, etc. Here in the heart of downtown was what appeared to be zoned "religious" as all of the churches were side by side next to or across from each other. We saw Catholic, Baptist, Lutheran, Methodist, Presbyterian, Episcopalian, among others. It is almost comical to consider that you could walk out of one and walk next door or across the street to another until you found the one that you liked. Almost like restaurant row or entertainment square, which seemed highly unusual to me. However, there really is no difference in them. By the time we entered back into Kentucky, we again were challenging the principalities, powers, rulers, and spiritual wickedness in the state which included witchcraft, sorcery, idolatry, along with divination. We traveled to Frankfort, the capital, and back to Lexington for the night. The following morning we prayed all over and around Lexington, known as the Horse Capital of the World(Idolatry). The University of Kentucky is there and has a large medical school and hospital. Also there is a Shriners Hospital, a Baptist Medical Center, and St. Johns Medical Center. That's four large medical centers in a city of a little less than 300,000 people. In other words, a huge witchcraft influence. There are also two major law schools, one at UK and the other at Transylvania University(formerly a Disciples of Christ affiliate). During this time, my heart and mind was being bombarded with distractions trying to take me away from the center of the purpose that we were sent there to pray. This is where divination came into play as I have experienced for years when a certain issue that God was showing us, a spirit would try to distract us from the main focal point to turn us away from the truth. God revealed this to me, and we continued to triumph! Finally, God also led to us to pray against the oppressive heat wave over the area, and by the time we arrived home, we heard on the news that it was slowly beginning to move as well as the torrential rains in the upper Midwest. It is tremendously encouraging when God leads you in paths of righteousness, and we begin to see the results of obedience to His commands. We truly thank God for His mercy and grace on all of our lives!

Prayer In North Dakota & South Dakota
It was another tremendously rewarding trip praying from Pierre, South Dakota to Bismarck, North Dakota. For example, about an hour traveling north from Pierre toward North Dakota across the horizon, it began to get dark and storm clouds began to form directly in front of us. Kathy and I had been challenging principalities, powers, rulers of the darkness, and spiritual wickedness, and continued as the Spirit of God directed as lightning struck all across in front of us. Of course, it also started to rain, but this was more than just rain. This was a storm!! My thought was, "Yes, devil, I know who you are, and we're coming to North Dakota by the Spirit of God!" As we progressed binding principalities, witchcraft, sorcery, divination, etc.(as God directed), a storm cloud would vanish and another would form, one would vanish, another would form, and so on, and we continued to make progress toward North Dakota! Finally, at one point Kathy said, "This seems strange, but in my spirit, it's as though it's coming from Canada!". We began to pray with that direction as well as the other things, and the storm clouds began to break apart, vanish, and steady easy rain continued until about 25 miles before Bismarck. While we were in Bismarck, it remained dry until we began to return to Pierre, and then it easily rained for the next 2 hours. The temperature in North Dakota was in the low 50's, somewhat different from the 100's of the last week in Texas. I asked someone when I stopped for gas in Strasbourg, North Dakota if they needed rain, and the person replied, "Most definitely! This is welcome relief!" I trust that you can see the difference in the rain that we initially encountered in the storm and the rain that was received after we overcame! What a blessing to serve the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob! About 40 miles from arriving back in Pierre, I touched base with the pilot, who was awaiting our arrival, and he said everything was fine. However, after I hung up, the same darkness we had encountered heading north began to form heading south toward Pierre. Again we continued to challenge the principalities as the Spirit of God directed and literally saw those dark clouds breakup and the darkness move backwards. It is a tremendous experience to see the power of God move the powers of darkness out of us, off of us, and away from us as we continue to believe the Gospel!
