In early 1998, God told Kathy and me to bind the power and authority of the Jezebel and bless our religious friends. So we proceeded to follow God's direction and continued to do so for several days. At this point, I awoke early one morning with a sharp pain in my lower back, which I recognized from past experience as described in a previous testimony titled "Stones Hurt." I got up and immediately began to read from the word of God, Isaiah 52 & 53, out loud, as I had experienced being healed by doing so. I arrived at the office late because of what I had been doing, and told Doyle what I had been experiencing. He asked, "Have you been reading?", and I replied, "Yes!" He said, "Well, keep it up, and we'll keep praying!" After about two hours, the pain had subsided considerably, and I had an appointment to attend. By the time I arrived home later that afternoon, the pain had begun to return with more severity than earlier. However, I refused to give in and lay down, as I knew that would not help. So with everything within me, I began to bind the Jezebel. As I was entering the house, I was shouting at the top of my voice, and Kathy heard me over the hair dryer all the way at the other end of the house. I continued with little relief, but I refused to give up. I made myself eat some soup even though I didn't feel like eating. Physically I was becoming weak, and I knew I needed some strength. Finally, I began to cry out to God for His mercy that is everlasting. I prayed, "Lord, I need mercy now!" I humbled myself and asked Him if I had been disobedient to cause this attack, and very softly I heard God say, "Many are the afflictions of the righteous, but the Lord delivereth him out of them all." I was quickened to Psalms 34, and I knew God was saying that it was my obedience that brought this affliction. Immediately, I was strengthened by the Spirit of God against the Jezebel(witchcraft) that was attacking my body. I was even louder than before as the Spirit of God rose up in me and went after that spirit that had been afflicting me. Within a matter of minutes, the pain completely subsided, and all the symptoms were gone. I am truly thankful for God's mercy and grace on all those who continue to believe the Gospel! Oh, by way, I continue to bind the works of the Jezebel and witchcraft as God leads with much more regularity than I would have ever considered necessary! However, it is very beneficial!

I want to begin by stating, although the primary content of this testimony is from the situation that began in l984, everything Satan does is false against God. Therefore, I will declare unto you that Satan has been trying by a false anointing to separate and divide us from God and this ministry even before it began. He tried to deceive me and keep me from getting together with Kathy even before God joined us together in marriage. However, thank God he couldn't do it as we persevered and overcame by His mercy and grace and according to His will. However, Satan has not stopped his futile efforts to divide us all. He has used situations and people who oppose God working in our lives over twenty eight years. Remember John 10:10, "The thief cometh not, but for to steal, to kill, and to destroy: I am come that you might have life, and that you might have it more abundantly." He also stated in John 16:33, "In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world." I am continually grateful and thankful that Jesus informed us and encouraged us with these words. However, I had no idea how far the devil would go, nor that God would allow him to do so, but He did. He knows what we can handle and what we will do. Believe the gospel and overcome. Also remember what Paul wrote to Timothy and for all of us in II Timothy 3:10-17: 10 But thou hast fully known my doctrine, manner of life, purpose, faith, longsuffering, charity, patience, 11 Persecutions, afflictions, which came unto me at Antioch, at Iconium, at Lystra; what persecutions I endured: but out of them all the Lord delivered me. 12 Yea, and all that will live godly in Christ Jesus shall suffer persecution. l3 But evil men and seducers shall wax worse and worse, deceiving, and being deceived. 14 But continue thou in the things which thou hast learned and hast been assured of, knowing of whom thou hast learned them; 15 And that from a child thou hast known the holy scriptures, which are able to make thee wise unto salvation through faith which is in Christ Jesus. 16 All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness: 17 That the man of God may be perfect, thoroughly furnished unto all good works.
God sent us with Doyle to Plano in l980 and told him to speak to the people of Plano. Notice it was not a specific group. Actually, God sent me in advance of Doyle's arrival to lead worship for a group of people in Plano, who were looking for a pastor. Eventually, they asked Doyle to pastor their church, and requested that I not be part of the package. Doyle informed them that they did not have a church, and I was with him, and they were welcome to join us. Ultimately, these people, who we later understood had been under the influence of a Jezebel, joined Doyle and this ministry. Prior to our arrival there had been a woman with this group of people who taught and usurped authority over men. I Timothy 2:12 states "But I suffer not a woman to teach, nor usurp authority over the man, but to be in silence." From the outset it was clear that this spirit was opposing us and trying to cause division.
In the early 80's the Lord directed Doyle to begin Water of Life Christian Training School. Shortly thereafter we came in contact with a man named Sam Whaley who was a graduate of Rhema Bible Training Center and served on staff at Rhema in Tulsa(Broken Arrow), Oklahoma. He ministered in our church a few times and was asked to minister at one of the graduation ceremonies for the Water of Life Christian Training School. The night of the graduation dinner, Sam's wife Jane, laid hands on several people, including Kathy and myself. When she laid hands on me, I became very sick to my stomach. They continued to minister for a short time until Doyle stopped it. Thank God! Although we had seen many spirits dealt with previously, and helped cast out some as well, I had never seen a woman operate like this woman. This was not the way things operated through this ministry. We had become accustomed to the foundation laid in our hearts by the apostle/prophet ministry through Doyle, which is scriptural. Until now, everything had been done decently and in order. This was anything by orderly. Unfortunately, that spirit is running ramped throughout the church today. Isaiah 3 says that because men's tongues and their doings are against the Lord, children will oppress them, and women will rule over them. For example, a man called a prophet by many, said "We don't do it quite like they did it in the book of Acts." This says a man's doings and tongue are against the Lord. We have been taught Hebrews 13:8 that Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today, and forever. Following this experience some strange things began to happen to people in the ministry. The Lord instructed Doyle to take Word of Faith satellite, and that spirit increased in strength. In September of l984 we were all in the fellowship hall praying. Kathy and I were on one side of the room, and Doyle came over and told us that Patti had laid hands on Debbie and said, "be filled with the spirit," and they were laughing hysterically. He said, "There is tremendous power there." Initially after some discussion, it was considered that this was the power of God. After all, I never would have thought that the devil would come into a prayer meeting. Since that time I have recognized that was unbelief. Initially I hesitated, but my thought was if this is God, I want it. No one that has any fear of God wants to resist the Holy Ghost, and that was our fear.
In l985 Doyle told me that he believed the Lord wanted Kathy and I to go to Denton, Texas to minister to a group of people there. Later he told us the reason God had sent us to Denton was that He didn't want Kathy and I to be overtaken by the Jezebel. We were there a little over a year and a half on Sunday mornings and Wednesday evenings. We did not really understand what that meant at the time, but it is very clear now. As always, that false anointing was trying to overpower and divide us from God and ultimately drive us out of here. Although we experienced manifestations of this spirit, including laughter, the full effects of this spirit did not overpower us until after l987. By this time frankly, we were uncertain what was right to yield to. We did not want to resist God, but there were many questions that we could not answer. I should of spoken up, but I was afraid I would be resisting God. I now know it was unbelief, and I do not blame any other person for my unbelief. The primary question was that I noticed we were not profiting in our life like we had before. I also noticed that this anointing empowered the women and seduced the faith of men. I saw Kathy and other women who normally were sober display emotions and actions contrary to their normal behavior. It takes no faith to yield to this spirit. It is very prideful and will not humble itself to receive correction. When this spirit would manifest, I began to notice there was no lasting change in people's hearts. It would only relieve pressure for a short period of time. This spirit was very strong and convincing that it was the Spirit of God. However, I began to notice Kathy's emotions becoming out of control and subsequently, physical problems. Our children became fearful and insecure, which we had never seen before. Kathy and I were overpowered with doubt and unbelief, and we knew that we were fighting for our life. I would take her out praying night after night to overcome the effects of this spirit. Frankly, at one point, Kathy was convinced she was loosing her mind, but I refused to give up and would continually encourage her, "Kathy, we have to believe!!!" We continued to fight and pray, and by the grace and mercy of God, we slowly began to make some progress to overcome that spirit. Finally, by the early 90's Doyle overcame the spirit enough to stop most of the outward manifestations. Kathy and I neither one had a problem admitting that we simply treaded water for a period of time, but there came a day when we started coming out from under this false anointing. We fought one attack and false accusation after another and never said a word to anyone. We simply called on the Lord, and He has come through every time. We were profiting again by the power that raised Jesus from the dead.
By l995, we were traveling with Doyle on crusades. One day coming home from Tulsa, Ralph, Debbie, Kathy and I were praying with all we had in us. There was a lull and up out of Kathy's heart came these words,"I may be the biggest Jezebel in the world, but I refuse to walk in this fear another day." A tremendous weight lifted off of both of us, and in the days following, we began to overcome adversities more rapidly.
In l998 the Spirit of God led Kathy and I to begin binding the power and authority of the Jezebel and bless our religious friends. Things cropped up all around us trying to convince us we were crazy and trying to distract us away from what God was doing in our lives. I shared with you in the previous testimony how I came under attack and asked the Lord if I was in rebellion. The Lord replied "Many are the afflictions of the righteous, but the Lord delivereth him out of them all." Immediately I knew it was obedience that brought the attack, and I overcame in a matter of minutes. It is difficult to explain for a person to completely understand, but you do know when you have overcome. Also, the Spirit of God revealed to Doyle that when Patti laid hands on Debbie in l984, she usurped authority over him, and unleashed a false anointing into this ministry. Suddenly things were clear how this could be false. It began to be much easier to resist the effects of that spirit after it was determined it was not the Holy Ghost. I know that we have overcome a large degree of this spirit, and we will see the end of our salvation. I encourage all of you, try the spirits whether they be of God or not(1John 4:1).

Many
years ago, the Lord ministered to me His words recorded in Matthew 5:43-49, 43Ye have
heard that it hath been said, Thou shalt love thy neighbor, and hate thine enemy. 44But I say unto you, Love your enemies, bless them
that curse you, do good to them that hate you, and pray for them which despitefully use
you, and persecute you; 45That ye may be the
children of your Father which is in heaven: for he maketh his sun to rise on the evil and
on the good, and sendeth rain on the just and on the unjust. 46For if ye love them which love you, what reward have ye? do not
even the publicans the same? 47And if ye salute
your brethren only, what do ye more than others? do not even the publicans so? 48Be ye therefore perfect, even as your Father which
is in heaven is perfect.
Initially, without spiritual understanding, I
thought, "Well, I can do that! It won't be too hard! You see, I have been
described as an easy-going, laid-back, low-keyed individual, and during the first thirty
years of my life, I usually got along with most people in the world. The few that
were difficult, I was able to avoid. In this walk, however, if we are to fulfill
what Jesus describes as "perfect" or complete as the Father, we have to face and
overcome with all people. Furthermore, I had no clue how broad or to what extent
this undertaking would be. It has been difficult to accept the opposition that I
have experienced over the past 28 years has occurred within the association of people in
the so-called Body of Christ. I just could not for some time imagine people who
professed to love God and supposedly followed the same path as a Christian would oppose
one another. Finally, I began to accept people who were not part of this fellowship
and followed contrary doctrine were obviously against us. After all, it is because
of disagreements over the Word that brought about all the different denominations, which
God did not ordain. Also, I could see that Jesus' primary enemies were the religious
people in the synagogues that God sent Him to confront. Ultimately, they were the
ones that condemned Him to die on the cross. What I was not prepared to experience
nor expect was the opposition and resistance from those that supposedly are called
brethren. I came to understand, though, that Jesus declared in Luke 8:21, "My mother and my brethren are those which hear the
word of God, and do it." Therefore,
anyone who would resist and oppose us instead of endeavoring to be in one accord as we are
instructed cannot be called brethren. Remember Jesus said in several places,
"He that is not with me is against me!" Also, do you recall that the
chosen apostles disputed among themselves who would be the greatest in Matthew, Mark, and
Luke's accounts. Therefore, if Jesus' chosen leaders experienced strife between each
other, I guess it should not be a suprise to experience strife with those around us.
Reluctantly, I began to accept what Jesus was saying because I knew He is right, but it was difficult because I do not nor never have had a heart that knowingly hated anyone period, let alone for no apparent reason. However, with open verbal false accusations, physical attacks, and spiritual torments, Jesus was teaching me the solution to overcome all of them! Specifically, I pray as the Spirit leads from Matt. 5:44, "Bless those that curse you, and pray for those that despitefully use you!" One definition for the word "despitefully" literally says "to falsely accuse". Sometimes I pray collectively for "all who have cursed me or despitefully used me" or specifically by name as the Lord leads. The question is asked, "How do you know for sure that you're blessing someone opposing you?" It does not hurt to bless anyone as all of us need to be turned from iniquities, and Peter spoke in Acts 3:26 that God sent his Son Jesus to bless us, in turning everyone of us away from his iniquities. So bless me all you desire, and I can assure you that I am thankful to receive those blessings! However, I also encourage you, when you experience physical and/or spiritual torments, to follow Jesus' instructions in Matthew 5. We have overcome these attacks time and time again by doing just that. In fact, it not only has worked individually with me, but Kathy and all three of my daughters had attacks against them physically at different times over the past two weeks, and we overcame them all! Praise God! Remember Paul stated in Romans 12:14, "Bless them which persecute you: bless, and curse not." The nature of most flesh is when a person discovers someone is against them, they want to show payback, become bitter, and strive! Of course, if you are a follower of Jesus, you know that won't work! In fact, it will cause you more problems! However, I have discovered if I can keep my heart right believing the Gospel and go to the Father in Jesus' name, the power that raised Jesus from the dead raises us over the attacks of wicked tongues set on fire from hell to destroy us, and we see and experience salvation every day.

Several years ago, God put this prayer in my heart when dealing with an opposing auto-insurance claim. Initally, they declared that we were entirely responsible for the accident, which I knew was totally false. God led me to fight this accusation directly against advisement of our insurance representative, who suggested we present it to an arbitrator and hopefully receive at least 75 %! He went on to state that in 25 years of experience no one ever received 100 %. Well, I knew we were not at fault period and to receive any thing less than total restitution would not be pleasing to God! During a period of about 3 weeks, God used this situation to overcome more fear of man and establish my heart to trust in Him. Even though I read many Psalms during this period of time, Psalm 56 would always minister strength greatly everytime I would read it. Finally, I had a meeting with the opposing insurance case-agent (I thought)! On my way to the meeting these words overwhelmingly kept ringing in my ears-3What time I am afraid, I will trust in thee, 9God is for me!, 11In God I have put my trust: I will not be afraid what man can do unto me! Upon arrival, I quickly understood and was thankful that God had strengthened my heart in this situation. Into the meeting room came the case agent, the Office Manager, the District Manager, and the Regional Manager. Their intent was to intimidate me to submit to their offer. After refuting several points in the case agent's report and upon several escalating offers being rejected, the Regional Manager made a final offer of 80%. I thanked him for his offer, but I did not come for partial payment. At this point, I proceeded to present some convincing information that the Lord had provided for me with no one elses help. The Regional Manager arose with the rest and said they would return shortly! After what appeared to be forever(only about 15 minutes), the case agent returned alone to inform me that they had agreed to my request, found their client totally at fault, and paid us 100 % restitution! Praise the Lord! About three weeks ago, God brought this prayer back to remembrance because of continuous opposition to us and those around us, and I encourage you to consider this prayer in your daily situations as God reminds me of the words-1 Be merciful unto me, O God: for man would swallow me up; he fighting daily oppresseth me. 2 Mine enemies would daily swallow me up: for they be many that fight against me, O thou most High. 3 What time I am afraid, I will trust in thee. 4 In God I will praise his word, in God I have put my trust; I will not fear what flesh can do unto me. Also remember that in Eph. 6 Paul states that we wrestle not with flesh and blood, but principalities, powers, rulers of the darkness, and spiritual wickedness. Put off the deeds of flesh by the Spirit persevering in all manner of prayer believing the Gospel!

In August of 2006, the Spirit of God told Doyle to call the world to fast for Israel and the Body of Christ. Since that time, we've been fasting and praying according to Joel 2:15-17 which states as follows 15Blow the trumpet in Zion, sanctify a fast, call a solemn assembly: 16Gather the people, sanctify the congregation, assemble the elders, gather the children, and those that suck the breasts: let the bridegroom go forth of his chamber, and the bride out of her closet. 17Let the priests, the ministers of the LORD, weep between the porch and the altar, and let them say, Spare thy people, O LORD, and give not thine heritage to reproach, that the heathen should rule over them: wherefore should they say among the people, Where is their God? 18Then will the LORD be jealous for his land, and pity his people. 19Yea, the LORD will answer and say unto his people, Behold, I will send you corn, and wine, and oil, and ye shall be satisfied therewith: and I will no more make you a reproach among the heathen:
When God instructed Doyle to call us all to fast, Israel was at war with Lebanon. It was very encouraging within a short period of time, they called a ceasefire and have continued with it to this date. This scripture tells us what the priests and the ministers are to do and what to pray. Spare thy people, O LORD, and give not thine heritage to reproach, that the heathen should rule over them: wherefore should they say among the people, Where is their God? I encourage you to read the rest of Joel 2.
Many of us have continued to pray this prayer on a regular basis, and we have seen the Lord move all over the world. A clear example of God sparing His people was in early October of 2006. I was ministering in Tulsa, Oklahoma and Joplin, Missouri on weekends. On a following Monday, God put in Kathy's, Candace's and my heart to include the people of Southwest Missouri in our fast according to the prayer in Joel 2. At the conclusion of that day, we heard on National News that a catastrophic incident had been avoided at Memorial Middle School in Joplin, Missouri. A student entered the school with the intent of shooting up the school with an semi-automatic assault weapon. When confronted, he shot as a warning in the ceiling hitting a water pipe. Then, he pointed it toward officials confronting him and pulled the trigger. The weapon jammed, he was subdued, and no one including the young student was hurt, thank God! It was reported that the young man had no previous problems, so it was certainly God's mercy on his life in particular, as well as all the others at the school. This is a clear example of the authority of the gospel working in our lives on a daily basis. You see, this prayer was not just for us or the people that we know in Southwest Missouri. God put it in our hearts to pray for all the people there that day, and He demonstated His mercy upon those people involved as well as all of us! Praise God !!
The Lord has established this authority in our hearts through several incidents in our schools over the years, especially after the tradgedy at Columbine in Colorado several years ago. One such incident occurred in the Spring of 1999 in Allen, TX. We had moved to Allen from the Plano ISD in the Fall of 1998. During our stay in the Plano schools, we had experienced several trials in the system with overcoming results, and we were excited to move to what appeared to be a much less pressure stressed environment. All was progressing nicely until one day, school was dismissed early because of a bomb threat. As a result in one day, the school system went from peaceful tranquility to total pandamonium! Fear became the ruling force at the time, and we immediately began to take authority over that spirit! We also talked with teachers, parents, school board members, and administrators encouraging them not to overreact. After all, there was never any physical evidence of a bomb or anything harmful ever found! However, the Superintendent, who was highly recognized by her peers, was extremely malipulative and controling and convinced the Board it was necessary to spend over one million dollars on security equipment such as metal detectors, security cameras, and increasing security personnel from six to nearly forty. It became a national news story over nothing! Over the following three weeks, there were at least a half-dozen bomb threats occur throughout the system, but they never occurred where our two daughters were attending at the time. God put it in our hearts to resist this spirit, and we were determined that it would not affect us until we would see total victory in the entire community. We clearly saw the spirit of the Superintendent was a Jezebel, and God led several of us to fast and pray against this spirit over the next several months. Paul stated in 1 Timothy 2:1-2, I exhort therefore, that, first of all, supplications, prayers, intercessions, and giving of thanks, be made for all men, For kings, and for all that are in authority; that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and honesty. During the following school year, we began to see the spirit of the community change as two prominent School Board members lost re-election, and two others resigned. The Superintendent also determined it was time to leave and took a larger job in New Mexico. We received notice that only two months into her new position, she was already at odds with the School Board. One of the first things implemented by the new Allen Superintendent was the removal of the metal detectors, and the security personnel was significantly reduced. Oh, I know, it took over a year to overcome this adversity, but perseverence paid dividends. It was worth the fight as it always is! The Gospel always brings salvation to everyone who continues to believe!

This is a testimony of Terry's faith, and us believing the words spoken by the Spirit out of the mouth of a prophet. 2 Chronicles 20:20 tells us to Believe in the Lord your God, so shall ye be established; believe his prophets, so shall ye prosper. As many of you know the Spirit of God took Terry to heaven on January 26, 2009. Terry was praying fervently minutes before he took his last breath and was received into heaven. I want to share something prophetic that came out of Terry's mouth before he went to be with the Lord. When Terry was diagnosed with malignant lymphoma, the doctors were discussing the treatments with Terry. One of them was very concerned when he found out that Terry and I did not have any kind of medical insurance. He was telling Terry of the expense that was facing us, and up out of Terry's spirit came these words. "Don't you worry about it. WE PAY CASH!!!" I did not realize the words coming out of my husband's mouth were prophetic for the days to come. I did not know that those words would burn in my heart when I was faced with the insurmountable medical bills. I am pleased to share with you that every medical expense has been paid up to this date. Every unexpected expense and every surprise has been met. The ministry did not suffer and we are moving forward. The Lord has been very gracious. The girls and I made our requests known unto God, not a man, or a group of men. There are things that we were faced with that no one but the Lord knew, and he has provided for us. We have fought with our faith, and when their was opportunity to doubt, the words spoken by the Spirit of God from Terry's heart would come out of one of us girls, and we continued to stand believing. In the middle of this the Lord spoke to me out of the mouth of another prophet, my Dad. He told me the Lord was speaking the words from Jeremiah 17:8. A man that trusteth in the Lord and whose hope is in the Lord will not be careful in the year of drought. I knew the Lord was telling me not to back off of anything that Terry and I had done together as far as giving money. I have not backed off and I have seen one miracle after another take place in our lives. One Saturday I needed some money and God knew it. It did not appear like anything was moving, but I did not waiver. I just said in my heart, "It will be here, WE PAY CASH!!" Ashley and I drove up to our mailbox at home to get the mail after the live broadcast. She said, "Mom!" I was like, "Oh, please not another bill." She said, "Mom, there is an envelope addressed to you." She opened it, and in that envelope was the amount of cash that I needed. There was no return address, no note, just cash. I can not tell you what that did for my heart. When things like that happen, you know God knows what you have need of. I have learned through this experience that God has no respect for any of our flesh. He is interested in making Christians and he did not give me a couple days to overcome the loss of my husband. I have come to see that it is his mercy that we did not have a choice but to believe him and the power of his resurrection. There are many, many testimonies I could share about this and perhaps I will in the future. I just wanted to give glory to God on Terry's behalf as well as ours for the faithfulness of God to his people. I thank God for Terry Mai. I thank God for his faith, his compassion, his humility and his love. Though he is resting from his labours here on earth, his works follow him. I also thank God for all of you who have prayed for the girls and me. God bless all of you.

12/24/07 A testimony of the power of God
Saturday morning I was awakened about 6:00 AM to hear Kathy binding the power and
authority of the Jezebel. I immediately joined my faith with her knowing something
was up in the Spirit. I soon realized that our daugher, Ashley, was in the bathroom
sick to her stomach and thought she might lose it at any minute. We continued to
pray fervently as James 5:16 describes. We were going after the Jezebel and
resisting the power of the devil. You know the scripture, Matthew 16:19, says,
"Whatsoever we bind on earth shall be bound in heaven: and whatsoever we loose on
earth shall be loosed in heaven." It is also written in James 4:7 that we are
to submit ourselves to God, resist the devil, and he will flee. Also, in Matthew
5:44, it says to bless those that curse you and pray for those that despitefully use you.
These were the things that God put in all our hearts to pray, and we overcame the
power of the devil in a very short period of time. Finally, Ash said, "I am
going back to bed." That is the power of God unto salvation. That is
